Hobby Boss 82906 1/72 scale German Rail Transporter for Karl-Geraet. In October 1939, work began on designs for loading the Gerat 040 for rail transport. Due to the high weight and great length, it was necessary to transport this self-propelled gun supported by traversing pedestals mounted on two five-axle rail carriages. Supporting arms, attached to the Gerat 040, were lifted by massive hydraulic cylinders to suspend the self-propelled gun between the rail carriages. This kit includes parts for the assembly of one plastic model kit. The set requires both glue and paint in order to be completed. Paints and glue are not included. For modelers aged 14 and older
