HISTORY OF THE FRENCH FISHING BOAT LA PROVENÇALE
Discover the wooden model of the Provençale, a traditional fishing boat of the French Riviera. With a typical Mediterranean line thanks to its two Latin sails, this boat used to be manufactured with the remains of the wood used for the construction of larger fishing boats.
The bottom of the Provençale hull is flat, which allows you to reach the very edge of the numerous beaches and coves of the wonderful region of which it is typical. Habitual among the poorest fishermen, these boats used to have serious problems when the weather was bad.
